Aeromovel continues to progress through its phased implementation at São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport and is now operating with two vehicles in circulation, gradually increasing system capacity in line with the planned schedule. The service is currently available to passengers and airport staff from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
This new stage began earlier this week, with two vehicles operating for progressively longer periods: three hours on Tuesday, four hours on Wednesday, and five hours on Thursday, in accordance with the operational ramp-up plan conducted in coordination with GRU Airport, the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), and regulatory authorities.
Since the start of public operations on February 6, the system has transported over 95,000 passengers. Including the initial phase dedicated exclusively to airport staff, which has been in operation since December 2025, the total number exceeds 120,000 passengers carried.
Currently, Aeromovel averages approximately 2,500 passengers per day, reinforcing the steady growth of operations and the system’s alignment with projected demand at this stage.
The gradual implementation model follows the recommendations of the international certification body responsible for system approval and includes progressive validation, continuous technical monitoring, and operational adjustments, leading up to the final certification stages and full system delivery in the second half of 2026.
