Confirming its commitment to best practices in internal processes, Aerom obtained ISO 9001 quality certification in February of this year. After structuring processes and implementing the requirements, the company successfully passed its first audit of the standard in January.
This achievement adds to the Group’s history, as Coester Automação, a company within the group, obtained its first ISO 9001 certification in 1996, allowing for optimization of operations by minimizing waste and errors in its processes.
Furthermore, developing a culture of continuous improvement and maintaining organizational procedures to the highest quality standards are fundamental principles of the Coester Group. The internationally recognized standards of the norm contribute to the Group’s reliability in the global market.
According to Eduardo Chrysostomo, the Group’s Operations Director, the certification is not the end of the process but rather the beginning. “Now it is up to the entire group to adhere dedicatedly and diligently to the agreed-upon processes, maintaining them, and continuously improving. This is how we can ensure the performance and quality to which we have always been committed,” emphasizes Chrysostomo.
