The 23rd edition of NT Expo – Business on Rails – kicked off this Tuesday, April 22, at the Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo. As the leading meeting point for the Latin American rail sector, the event brings together top industry leaders through Thursday, April 24, to explore solutions and strategies for the future of rail transport in Brazil.

With the theme “Forging the Future of the Rail Transport Chain,” this year’s edition emphasizes the strategic role of innovation and institutional collaboration in strengthening the sector. During the opening ceremony, Joubert Flores, Chairman of the Board of ANPTrilhos (National Association of Passenger Rail Operators), highlighted the importance of the NT Expo as a space for dialogue and cooperation.

Eduardo Chrysostomo, Chief Operating Officer at Aerom, took part in the panel “What to Expect from the Revitalization of Rail Transport?” on the first day of the event. Moderated by Ana Patrizia Gonçalves Lira, Executive Director of ANPTrilhos, the panel also featured Ana Cláudia Nascimento e Sousa (CTB), Leandro Rodrigues e Silva (CODEMGE), Petras Amaral (Marcopolo), and Alberto Epifani (STM). Eduardo presented Aerom’s perspective on innovation, sustainability, and pathways to strengthen Brazil’s rail network.
