This past weekend marked a crucial milestone in the construction of the Aeromovel at Guarulhos International Airport. The final assembly of the highly anticipated Section 2 of the Aeromovel System is well underway, driven by a remarkable logistical feat and the imposing presence of Brazil’s largest operational crane.
With an incredible lifting capacity of up to 1000 tons, this steel giant moves on tracks, requiring a carefully constructed runway to ensure its precise maneuverability. The assembly of the crane, a true engineering feat, demands detailed coordination involving two other cranes and the mobilization of an impressive fleet of 50 trucks with specialized equipment.
This monumental stage is an event worth witnessing, showcasing not only the technical and operational capabilities of the AeroGRU Consortium but also the engineering vision guiding every step of this endeavor.
