Governor Tarcísio de Freitas Visits Aeromovel Project at Guarulhos Airport

Impressed by Brazilian Technology, Governor Operates System and Expresses Pride

Yesterday afternoon (June 19), São Paulo Governor Tarcísio de Freitas visited the Aeromovel project at Guarulhos Airport. During his visit, the Governor operated the test controls, guiding the vehicle from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 and back to Terminal 1. After the operation, he exclaimed, “Fantastic!”

The Governor was impressed and proud of the robust and efficient technology developed by Brazilian industry. Showing great interest, he requested to ride the vehicle and inspect the motors. As a qualified technician and curious observer, he examined all the Aeromovel systems, asking numerous questions and making observations about the system’s functionality and operations.

Tarcísio de Freitas expressed high expectations for the project’s completion, looking forward to evaluating new applications of Aeromovel technology for urban mobility. He requested the project be expedited to meet the state’s current demands and asked for a model of the system to display in his office.

The visit also included Guarulhos Mayor Guti Costa, State Representative Jorge Wilson, and members of the Engineering Institute. They were welcomed by the Aerom engineering team and members of the AeroGRU consortium, responsible for the project that will connect the last station of the CPTM’s Jade Line directly to the airport terminals.
