Last Monday (25), the Consórcio AeroGRU welcomed a group of Engineering students from Hochschule Biberach – University of Applied Sciences for a technical visit to the Aeromovel System implemented at São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport.
The visit is part of an annual international academic program promoted by the German university, which organizes short-term exchange experiences focused on providing students with practical insights into engineering and civil construction projects in different countries. The initiative aims to connect students with real-world infrastructure projects, construction methods, and innovative transportation technologies.
During the visit, the group had the opportunity to learn more about the technical aspects of the Aeromovel project in Guarulhos, including system engineering, operational integration, infrastructure, and the technological solutions applied throughout the implementation process. The students also gained firsthand insight into the challenges and execution stages involved in deploying an automated people mover system.
The technical presentation and site reception were conducted by engineer Diego Abs, who shared details about the project implementation and the experience of developing the system together with the Consórcio AeroGRU.
The visit reinforces the relevance of the Aeromovel as a reference in innovative and sustainable urban mobility solutions, while also highlighting the growing international interest in Brazilian engineering and passenger transportation technologies.
